Kellogg Oops: Accepts and then rejects 50 applicants

Ouch and Oops.

Kellogg on Monday accidentally sent acceptance notifications to 50 students it intended to reject. Northwestern spokesperson Megan Washburn blamed a mail-merge glitch and said "It is a very unfortunate error."  She said the school will reimburse each of the affected students their $235 application fee. 

The Kellogg MBA application web site has the correct information.
