2016 Top Colleges In The U.S.

Hurray – U.S. News released their 2016 college rankings! Let’s jump right in…

Top 20 National Universities

Here are a few highlights from these rankings:

• UPenn dropped from 8th place last year to 9th this year – this was the only school in last year’s top 10 to shift.

• New to the top 10 this year is Johns Hopkins, which jumped two spots to 10th place (tied with CalTech).

• One of the biggest forward jumpers this year was Southern Illinois University-Carbondale which leapt 36 spots from 189th place to 153rd. University of Illinois-Chicago jumped 20 spots from 149th to 129th.
