Stanford Graduate School of Business announced today that Dean Robert L. Joss will step down from his position as dean at the completion of his current five-year term, which ends in 2009.
The two capstone achievements of Joss’ ten-year tenure are:
- The new MBA curriculum introduced in fall 2007.
- Planning and breaking ground for the new 360,000-square-foot, environmentally friendly business school campus. (Planned completion date: 2011)
Stanford also announced the immediate formation of a dean’s search committee headed by Stanford Provost John Etchemendy.
