The Monroe St. Journal has an article by Ross Director of Admissions Soojin Kwon Koh, in which she encourages current students and alumni to participate in courting accepted students. While the inclusive spirit she is drawing upon is impressive, the Ross admissions stats she cites are even more so. Ross reports:
- A 31% increase in applications this year.
- A 4-point increase in the average GMAT score for both applicants and for admitted students.
- Representation from 37 countries (up from 31 last year) and 38 states across the U.S.
At the same time, Koh writes:
"The large increase in applications to Ross can, in part, be attributed to an increase in the number of applications submitted by each prospective student. The upshot is that each of our admits is likely to have many options so we’ll need to work hard to recruit them to Ross."
