AAMC is looking for volunteers to take the new MCAT in its shiny new format: It announced:
"The final pilot test for the MCAT’s new computerized format will take place during the August 19 test administration. The AAMC is looking for about 10 percent of examinees to volunteer to take the computer-based version on that date. Prospective volunteers may select the computer-based option when registering for the August test date. A final decision about full-scale implementation of the computerized MCAT will be made after the results from this test date are analyzed. The AAMC’s goal is to make the MCAT entirely computer-based beginning in January 2007.
