HISPANIC BUSINESS has just published its top ten MBA programs for Hispanics. Unfortunately, it doesn’t specify (or I couldn’t find) its ranking criteria. That failing limits the value of these rankings more than usual. With that caveat in mind, here is the list:
- UT Austin
- NYU Stern
- University of Miami
- Duke Fuqua
- Florida International University
In a related vein, but different source, Tuck celebrated its #3 position in these rankings in a press release and also emphasized its outreach to Latin America. In Tuck’s words:
"Tuck is also committed to offering its students a truly global learning environment. In the past year alone, the school appointed student ambassadors to Brazil, Mexico, Uruguay, and Argentina, as well as Spain, Portugal, and 20 other countries across the world. In March, Danos traveled to Mexico City to launch the school’s Mexico Initiative to further strengthen ties with the region. And international students will make up more than a third of the incoming class of 2008, the highest proportion in Tuck’s history."
