Stanford Dean Joss to Resign
Stanford Graduate School of Business announced today that Dean Robert L. Joss will step down from his position as dean at the completion of his current five-year term, which ends in 2009.
The two capstone achievements of Joss' ten-year tenure are:
- The new MBA curriculum introduced in fall 2007.
- Planning and breaking ground for the new 360,000-square-foot, environmentally friendly business school campus. (Planned completion date: 2011)
Stanford also announced the immediate formation of a dean's search committee headed by Stanford Provost John Etchemendy.
