New Admissions Forums
Online admissions forums sometimes contribute to neuroses. Sometimes simulate the blind leading the sightless. And sometimes provide realistic useful information. The latter occurs when the ones answering the questions are knowledgeable about admissions. If not, you have rumors flying at best; at worst misinformation spreading faster than margarine on a hot day.
Last June, Accepted opened up its own admissions forums after participating for years in several different online forums. I currently respond to questions on the longest running thread on the Businessweek Forum. Paul Bodine helps out on the Ask Accepted thread at the GMAT Club. And PagalGuy recently invited Accepted to take queries on its forums; Jennifer Bloom is participating there.
I have also been very pleased with the level of participation in the forums that we opened in June, especially in the MBA admissions forum. Furthermore I have noticed more questions in the form of comments to this blog. All these developments tell me that you want more and better ways to interact with Accepted's staff. Consequently I decided to expand Accepted's forums and move them to a more robust bulletin board system.
They are now open and ready. We are happy to answer your questions, and if we don't know the answer ,we will do our best to point you in the right direction. Please check out:
