GMAC Convention: San Francisco Here I Come!

This past summer I submitted a session proposal to the Graduate Management Admissions Council for its next annual convention in San Francisco this June.

I proposed a panel discussion on admissions consulting that will discuss what admissions consultants actually do. There is an incredible amount of ignorance, especially among those who are critical of the field. This session will educate those who don't mind being confused by the facts.

In any case, GMAC liked the idea and is planning such a session based on my proposal. I have been invited to participate as has Maxx Duffy of Maxx Associates, and Ricardo Betti of MBA Empresarial. Maxx can present the former adcom viewpoint and Ricardo, who lives in Brazil, will present the international viewpoint. I will present the run-of-the-mill, domestic consultant view.  ;-)

(EDIT: Graham Richmond of Clear Admit joined the panel a few weeks after this was posted. Welcome Graham!)
