Find a Balance in Your Life

You will need to juggle your academics, personal life, extracurricular activities, family, and personal time while in medical school. Study hard, get involved, investigate the field of medicine, and love what you do.
Many people entering a health profession are combining their vocation and their avocation; they make their work their play. You will truly need to love this job. There will be many long and difficult days, and you must be passionate about what you are getting into. Having a good balance of work and play will help you to find release from the stress that you may end up facing on a daily basis.
It is very important for you to find this balance. It will help you to be successful, not only in medical school, but also in you career.
