Generous Scholarships at UC Irvine School of Law

University of California, Irvine School of Law announced that it is offering privately funded scholarships for its entire class arriving in August 2010 — offering at least 50% of tuition payments for all three years of law school. Last year, the Law School had provided full-tuition scholarships for its inaugural class, the Class of 2012, in which only 4% of applicants were accepted, making it the lowest acceptance rate in the country. The Class of 2013 will have approximately 80 students, with the Law School gradually growing to about 200 students per class. These generous donations help the Law School maintain a high caliber of students and a status comparable to the top 20 law schools.

Not bad for its second year in operation.
